Cheddar Bread in the Bread Machine

I thought I would try baking some cheddar cheese bread in the bread machine. So let's get started. I add a tablespoon of butter to the milk so it can be softened.

The first thing you're going to need is 1 1/4 cups of milk warmed up slightly and I've already added a tablespoon of butter to make it soft.

I used bread machine yeast to make the bread rise faster - I guess it just makes it rise quicker. 1 1/2 cups of shredded sharp cheddar cheese.

It's going in the bread machine on the white setting, one and a half pound loaf, light color. Usually I don't bake the bread in the machine, but I thought I would give it a try this time. I usually just make the dough, take it out, and bake it.

Please don't forgot that you should make sure your cheese is at room temperature just to show you a little glimpse of it getting started. I just wanted to show you what it looks like about a third of the way through. It still has 34 minutes to bake so let me just open it up right now. This is what it looks like, but most importantly I wanted to let you know that it smells amazing.

I just got the loaf out of the bread machine, and it is cooling on a rack. I will let it cool for a bit, then I will cut it open and show you what it looks like inside. After letting it cool for quite some time, it's not worn out at all and it slices well and tastes good. Give it a try and let me know what you think!
